The City of Saint Petersburg
The City of St. Petersburg is the 4th largest city in the State of Florida and was designated as "Green City" by the Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC). The city has implemented numerous energy saving technologies, with the help of RES, at various locations including City Hall, the Coliseum, Fleet Management, the Dali Museum and much, much, more.
Santa Fe College
located in Gainesville Florida has been very progressive with their energy conservation efforts. The college retrofitted all of their parking lot lights with induction earning the college a $21,750 rebate check from Gainesville Regional Utilities. As well as utilizing induction retrofits through out the campus, Santa Fe College has installed new induction fixtures, LED lamps, and Energy Miser Controllers.
Jake's Finer Foods
Jake's Finer Foods built its new distribution facility and corporate headquarters in northwest Houston under the guise of increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and significantly cutting energy use and environmental waste. By re-designing their initial lighting concepts to include induction they have been able to reduce their carbon footprint, increase safety, and pass along long-term savings to their customers.
