Why Retrofit?

With bright white light and an energy savings of up to 60% over sources like HID & mercury vapor, the advantage of switching to induction lamps is obvious and immediately applicable. RES can modify your existing lighting fixture with an Induction Retrofit Kit. There is also substantial savings in not having to dispose of your current fixtures and the time it takes to remove and install new fixtures.

How is this done?

We're committed to make it easy for contractors, ESCOs and facility managers to adapt their existing HID fixtures to accommodate energy-efficient Induction lamps. RES has access to numerous retrofit kits for many standard fixtures. These packages have been designed and engineered to simplify the fixture conversion process.

Each kit provides a cost effective solution, with easy installation and reliable product performance. All hardware including mounting bracket(s), screws and spacers required are included, along with detailed step-by-step instructions.

Can’t find fixture in the catalogue of available kits?

RES will take a sample of one of your existing fixtures and install a retrofit kit and heat test it. Then if the fixture passes the heat test, a custom retrofit kit will be built for your fixture including any heat sinking needed.

What if it fails?

Your custom retrofit kit will come with a 5 year warrantee, the same as a new fixture, and is virtually maintenance free. The Induction Retrofit will optimize your investment in your existing fixtures, therefore reducing your overall cost.
